Sometimes I want to turn Football on the Tv

It's not like your dead

But you might as well be

I vaguely remember, but I'm reminded of what you said

"your mom and I need a break"

That's right a break;broken family

Life without living, needing a shake

A blender wouldn't even do the trick;sadly

birds never push their babies out of the tree

but sea turtles can leave their children under sand

I wonder if it can happen to me

if i can survive without a dad

it's not about the past or present anymore

just looking at the future, taking a step forward
